Besides policing personnel issues, the two leaders discussed internal security successes, including the recent surrender of around 591 Maoist cadres in Telangana. Revanth briefed Amit Shah on the government’s approach to encouraging surrenders and the rehabilitation support being provided to former insurgents as they reintegrate into society.
